Gossip Girl
Sometimes, what a girl needs is a tub of ice-cream, a quiet moment in bed watching her favourite TV shows. In my case, what I need is some Ben & Jerry's and my current obsession, Gossip Girl. Not too far off is it?Boys can say what they want about Gossip Girl but you'll get hooked once you start watching. Scandals and lifestyles of the "rich and famous"? Not to mention, some pretty good eye candy. The plot may just be like any other show on tv but this one... Let's just say, it connects with me in a rather interesting way.  Re-watched season 1. Re-watching season 2, before I start season 3. I'm slow but waiting is a chore. So why not re-watch before watching season 3? (: Refreshes your memory. This scene. No, there's just dust in my eye. I'm not crying. Tragic isn't it? This scene... Something about Chuck and something about Blair reminds me of events happening in the real world. Bittersweet romance and tragic endings. That episode, O Brother Where Bart thou? Something about Chuck's letter and Blair's confession is really amusing. Don't you think so? That's what makes this story beautiful. The painful drama we'll all have to endure. While there are some who appreciate sad endings, there are those wishing for a happier ones. Unfortunately for them, the real world is just like that. |
