GRRR!



So, if you've been following my twitter... You would have probably heard/read about the drama regarding my pay. Yes, I am so pissed and angry but I shall start explaining about it from Day One.

So, the story begins...

On 3rd January, my boss' secretary smsed me asking for my bank account number so my pay would be credited in. That meant, "HURRAH! PAY WILL BE RECEIVED SHORTLY!"

If you think good news, well you're wrong because if it were good news, there would not even be a story in the first place.

Because....

On the 7th or something, we received an email...

"

Hi all,
 
Just a headsup, your Dec's pay salary will be credited via bank transfer
latest by next Tue (12 Jan) due to some delay in the bank transfer.  We
will try to credit by Mon.  Sorry for the inconvenience caused."

(I refuse to write who sent it & the company's name.

I don't want legal action to be taken against me any time soon.)

 At that point of time, I was a little angry but it's okay... I wait.

Until I got another email which totally pissed me off.

"Hi all,
 
I know you do not want to hear this news, however, I still need to keep you
informed.  "Boss" is currently in UK and if you read the news, you know the
weather is very bad with freezing snow.  "Boss" called me last night that she
has difficulty in having the internet connected to approve the giro payment
for all your salary due to bad weather in UK.  She will try her best to see
what she can do to get the connection and approve as fast as she can.  We
really apologise for this unforeseen circumstances.  Please be assured that
it is NOT our intention to hold back your salary, it is really beyond our
control with this situation.
 
I will keep all of you informed again on the update.
 
Please do accept our apologies."

(Changed boss's name to boss.)

Fuck. I don't know got such thing like bad weather affects internet connection. 

Who are you trying to kid? My grandmother?

Okay, so I wait for more news because I was praying for a miracle. 

And also because I was nice. 

At this time, the rest started to send emails to irritate her. 

I wanted to do that too but I was too busy with whatever I was doing which was actually pretty much nothing.

So, luckily we received an email...

"Hi all,
 
Thank you for your patience.  
 
Boss has managed to approve the giro payment, please check your bank
account on Thu (14 Jan) to see whether your payout is in.  The transfer
process takes 2 days since all of you have different banks from our issuing
bank. 

 "


At that moment, I heaved a sigh of relief. AT LAST! I understand the whole different banks and interbanking thing takes time to process so it's fine with me. But, the drama still doesn't end here.

Because on the 13th of Jan, Belinda smsed me and guess what.

I only received HALF of my pay. And so did the rest.

Guess what stupid reason my boss gave.

MOM will check because we never deduct CPF. (all of us opt not to deduct except for Nurul)

WTF?! Stupid reason can. So, we'll only get the other half together with our January pay.

EXCUSE ME?! What rubbish is this?
If I were to calculate, my January pay would probably be about the same as half of my Dec pay. If you were to add up Jan's pay and half of Dec's pay, it would be the same as my Dec pay. So what? You're gonna cut it half again?!

RUBBISH. Don't bullshit with me.

I am like so fucking pissed la. I was expecting like 500+/- but no, I received 475 only. Eh, I thought I hit 1000?! Rubbish right?

And you know! I don't get commission and NO OVERTIME PAY.


I worked on Christmas Eve, Christmas & the day after and still no overtime pay?!
Unfair right?

Grrrrrrr.
